Description

• Safety Management: Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to mechanical fabrication and erection activities. Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Recommend and implement corrective actions to address identified risks.
• Training and Education: Provide safety training and orientation to new and existing employees. Ensure all personnel are knowledgeable about safety procedures, equipment use, and emergency response protocols.
• Incident Management: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct inspections of mechanical fabrication and erection activities to ensure safety practices are being followed.
• Safety Equipment: Ensure that all safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are available, properly maintained, and used correctly. Oversee the proper storage and handling of safety equipment.
• Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. Coordinate emergency drills and ensure readiness for potential safety incidents.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related issues and concerns. Communicate safety information and updates to all relevant stakeholders, including management and employees.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident investigations, and compliance reports. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.
