• Implement strict HSE standards during all FGD activities.
• Ensure permit-to-work systems for confined space, working at height, and lifting operations.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA, IS standards, and environmental regulations.
• Supervise construction of absorber foundations, duct supports, and structural steel.
• Verify alignment, leveling, and integrity of civil structures.
• Oversee erection of absorber towers, ducts, piping, and slurry handling systems.
• Ensure welding quality, material specifications, and proper anchoring.
• Monitor installation of pumps, agitators, and mist eliminators.
• Coordinate installation of control panels, sensors, and instrumentation for SO₂ removal efficiency.
• Ensure proper cable routing, grounding, and calibration.
• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and safety logs.
• Report deviations and corrective actions to project management.
• Ensure readiness for fire, chemical spill, and confined space rescue during FGD works.
