Description

• Monitor and ensure safe work practices during power plant shutdown operations.
• Conduct daily Tool Box Talks (TBTs) and safety briefings for workers and contractors.
• Ensure implementation of approved Permit to Work (PTW) systems including Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Work at Height, Electrical Isolation, etc.
• Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective actions.
• Ensure availability and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at work sites.
• Assist in risk assessment, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and method statements before execution of jobs.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and report observations to the safety officer / project manager.
• Maintain daily safety reports, inspection checklists, and incident records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to enforce safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety rules, company EHS standards, and client safety guidelines.
• Participate in emergency response drills and assist during any emergency situations.
• Stop unsafe work when required and escalate critical safety issues to project management.
