• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to electrical light installation projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential safety hazards associated with electrical work.
• Provide safety training and orientation to project personnel, emphasizing safe work practices, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety protocols, identify hazards, and address any safety concerns promptly.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and protocols for responding to electrical emergencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that safety considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Ensure that all electrical equipment and tools are properly maintained, inspected, and used according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Monitor and enforce electrical safety measures, including lockout/tagout procedures, grounding, and insulation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
• Provide ongoing safety leadership and guidance to project personnel, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
