Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs for employees, covering topics such as workplace safety, hazardous material handling, emergency response procedures, and environmental protection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Manage the plant’s waste management program, including waste minimization, segregation, labeling, and disposal, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitor and maintain records of air emissions, wastewater discharge, hazardous waste generation, and other environmental parameters as required by permits and regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with permits, reporting requirements, inspections, and inquiries.
Conduct environmental impact assessments for proposed process changes, new equipment installations, or facility expansions.
Keep abreast of changes in EHS regulations and industry best practices, and proactively recommend updates to policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
Drive a culture of safety and environmental stewardship by promoting awareness, engagement, and participation among employees at all levels.
Participate in emergency response drills and serve as a member of the emergency response team as needed.
