Job Professional Qualification : Certified Rigging Supervisor / LEEA / LOFER / OPITO or Equivalent Ceritification
Develop detailed rigging and heavy-lift plans tailored to the weight, size, and location of equipment (e.g., turbines, boilers) — selecting optimal cranes, hoists, slings, beams, and accessories.
Perform load calculations to ensure equipment compatibility and structural safety.
Inspect all rigging gear (chains, slings, ropes, shackles, hooks) before and after use for wear, damage, and compliance with safety standards.
Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure proper storage to extend equipment lifespan and guarantee readiness.
Conduct thorough risk assessments; implement safety protocols aligned with local regulations, manufacturer guidance, and industry best practices.
Enforce compliance with OSHA/IS standards, and oversee job safety analyses (JSAs) prior to lifts.
Lead rigging teams and coordinate with crane operators, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to execute lifts smoothly and safely.
