Description
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and client‑specific safety requirements at the project site.
- Monitor work activities to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct safety induction for all new employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Deliver toolbox talks (TBT), safety awareness sessions, and refresher trainings regularly.
- Perform routine site safety inspections and audits.
- Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report them to concerned authorities.
- Record and investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents.
- Prepare incident/accident reports and suggest preventive measures.
- Ensure availability and readiness of emergency response equipment.
- Conduct emergency drills (fire, spill, evacuation) in coordination with site teams.
- Ensure proper issuance, usage, and maintenance of required PPE.
- Enforce 100% PPE compliance across the project site.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
- Monitor compliance with MSDS, spill response procedures, and environmental precautions.
