Description

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and project-specific HSE requirements.
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification studies.
  • Review and approve Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements related to electrical activities.
  • Monitor implementation of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
  • Investigate electrical incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for project personnel.
  • Ensure safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with project safety requirements.
  • Maintain electrical safety records, inspection reports, and statutory compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate emergency response preparedness for electrical hazards and incidents.
