Lifting Supervisor / Lifting Expert

• Supervise all lifting, rigging, and material handling activities at the project site.
• Ensure safe execution of lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and site procedures.
• Verify lifting equipment, cranes, slings, shackles, hooks, and accessories before use.
• Conduct pre-lift meetings and toolbox talks with crane operators, riggers, and work crews.
• Monitor critical and heavy lifting operations to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, EIC, Maintenance Teams, and Contractors during shutdown activities.
• Ensure exclusion zones and lifting areas are properly barricaded and controlled.
• Identify lifting hazards and implement suitable control measures.
• Review lifting permits and ensure necessary approvals are available before commencement of work.
• Report unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Maintain lifting inspection and supervision records as required by the client.

Required Experience & Competency

• Proven experience in lifting supervision, rigging management, and heavy lifting operations.
• Experience in Power Plants, Captive Power Plants (CPP), Industrial Plants, Refineries, Petrochemical Facilities, Steel Plants, or Shutdown Projects.
• Knowledge of crane capacities, load charts, lifting gear inspections, and safe lifting practices.
• Familiarity with AOH, COH, outage, shutdown, and maintenance projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and lifting regulations.
• Immediate or short-notice availability will be highly preferred.
