• Ensure compliance with all statutory and client‑specific safety requirements at the project site.
• Monitor work activities to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct safety induction for all new employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Deliver toolbox talks (TBT), safety awareness sessions, and refresher trainings regularly.
• Perform routine site safety inspections and audits.
• Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report them to concerned authorities.
• Record and investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents.
• Prepare incident/accident reports and suggest preventive measures.
• Ensure availability and readiness of emergency response equipment.
• Conduct emergency drills (fire, spill, evacuation) in coordination with site teams.
• Ensure proper issuance, usage, and maintenance of required PPE.
• Enforce 100% PPE compliance across the project site.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
• Monitor compliance with MSDS, spill response procedures, and environmental precautions.
