Job Academic Qualification : B.Sc. / Diploma Engineering (B.Sc. Chemistry would be Prefferable)

  • Site Safety Monitoring: Conduct daily inspections of work areas, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Permit-to-Work System: Manage and verify permits for high-risk activities (hot work, confined space, working at height).
  • Training & Induction: Provide safety induction for new workers and conduct toolbox talks regularly.
  • Incident Reporting & Investigation: Document accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; assist in root cause analysis.
  • PPE Compliance: Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Organize drills and maintain readiness for fire, chemical spills, and evacuation.
  • Contractor Safety Coordination: Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain safety logs, inspection reports, and training records.
  • Risk Assessment & Hazard Analysis: Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), HAZOP, and other risk assessments for new installations.
  • Design Safety Integration: Ensure engineering designs comply with safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001).
  • Safety System Implementation: Oversee installation of fire protection, gas detection, emergency shutdown systems.
  • Process Safety Management: Evaluate process changes for safety impact and ensure compliance with PSM requirements.
  • Technical Audits: Conduct safety audits on equipment, systems, and plant layout.
  • Incident Investigation (Technical): Analyze technical failures and recommend engineering solutions.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare safety reports, design validation documents, and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work with design, operations, and maintenance teams to embed safety in all phases of expansion.
