Description

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures specific to electrical installation and erection work in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the worksite, including electrical equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE), to identify and address potential hazards.
• Provide guidance and assistance to project managers and supervisors on safety-related matters, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to communicate safety procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements to all project personnel.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures, and take appropriate measures to address non-compliance issues.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety requirements and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training sessions, and other safety-related documentation.
• Provide safety training and orientation to new employees and subcontractors, emphasizing the importance of safe work practices and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and best practices in electrical safety to continuously improve safety performance on the project.
