Safety Oversight: Supervise and monitor all aspects of safety on the renovation site, including but not limited to, construction activities, equipment operation, material handling, and site access.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all personnel comply with safety policies, procedures, and regulations set forth by relevant authorities and the company. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any safety hazards or non-compliance issues.
Safety Training: Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions for project personnel, including new hires and subcontractors, covering topics such as hazard recognition, safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Incident Management: Respond promptly to any accidents, incidents, or near misses on the site. Conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports and documentation.
Safety Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication regarding safety matters among project stakeholders, including management, contractors, and workers. Promote open dialogue, encourage reporting of safety concerns, and foster a collaborative approach to safety management.
Safety Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures. Work closely with project management to integrate safety considerations into project planning and scheduling.
Safety Leadership: Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety excellence. Motivate and empower team members to prioritize safety in all aspects of their work. Provide guidance and support to promote a positive safety culture.
