Description
- Safety Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures tailored to construction activities.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety gear.
- Training and Education:
- Provide safety training and orientation for new employees and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and drills to keep staff informed about safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Incident Management:
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction safety laws and regulations.
- Safety Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
- Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation as required by regulatory bodies and company policies.
- Risk Assessment:
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with the project management team to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Emergency Response:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for emergency response situations, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
