Description

• Safety Program Management:
  • Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Compliance and Regulation:
  • Ensure the organization complies with all relevant safety laws and regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes.
• Training and Education:
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, including orientation, refresher courses, and emergency response drills.
  • Promote safety awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
• Incident Investigation:
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to safety incidents.
• Safety Equipment and Resources:
  • Oversee the maintenance and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
  • Ensure that safety resources and materials are readily available and in good condition.
• Emergency Response:
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate and lead emergency response drills and exercises.
• Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and present safety reports to management as required.
