Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Scaffolding Inspector to join our team for Overhauling Shutdown projects. The role involves overseeing and ensuring the safety, integrity, and compliance of scaffolding systems during routine overhauling shutdowns at various client sites. You will be responsible for inspecting scaffolding installations, assessing their structural integrity, and ensuring they are fit for purpose and meet industry safety standards throughout the shutdown period.
- Scaffolding Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding systems at project sites before, during, and after overhauling shutdown activities to ensure structural integrity, stability, and safety compliance.
- Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure all scaffolding installations adhere to local, national, and international safety regulations, including relevant codes of practice (e.g., OSHA, IS 2750, etc.).
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of scaffolding inspections, including detailed reports of findings, recommendations for repairs or modifications, and follow-up actions.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential safety hazards or risks related to scaffolding structures and recommend corrective measures to mitigate those risks.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and safety officers to address any scaffolding-related issues during the overhauling shutdown and ensure the project meets safety and quality standards.
- Pre-shutdown Assessment: Assess the scaffolding needs and requirements before shutdown activities begin, ensuring the scaffolding is designed and erected to support all necessary tasks and operations during the overhaul.
- Post-shutdown Evaluation: Perform post-shutdown evaluations to ensure scaffolding is dismantled safely and all systems are removed correctly, with no residual safety hazards left on site.
- Inspection of Materials: Inspect scaffolding materials, including tubes, boards, fittings, and other components, for damage, wear, or defects, ensuring that only approved materials are used for installations.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor scaffolding procedures and suggest improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality in future overhauling shutdown projects.
