Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with project safety standards, statutory regulations, and client EHS requirements.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure implementation of safe work practices at construction sites.
  • Monitor high-risk activities and ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training programs.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
  • Support emergency preparedness initiatives, mock drills, and safety campaigns.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and client representatives on safety matters.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across the project workforce.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Construction Safety Management and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Incident Investigation.
  • Good understanding of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and high-risk activity monitoring.
  • Ability to conduct safety training and awareness programs.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
