Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with project safety standards, statutory regulations, and client EHS requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and hazard identification activities.
  • Monitor high-risk activities and ensure implementation of safe work practices.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness programs.
  • Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports and maintain EHS documentation.
  • Facilitate emergency preparedness programs, mock drills, and safety campaigns.
  • Promote a positive safety culture among employees and contractors.

Required Skills

  • Good knowledge of construction safety practices and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident prevention.
  • Understanding of PTW systems and high-risk activity monitoring.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety training and workforce awareness programs.
