Financial 

• Be constantly alert for any unsafe conditions and act immediately to rectify them 
• Ensure resources are effectively & efficiently utilized  

 Customer 

• Manage and resolve all safety non compliances raised by authorities and site team 

 Operational 

• Implement & increase safety awareness among employees and contractors through communications as per corporate HSE directives issued from time to time 
• Establish and conduct induction & jobsite orientation for every new employee for the project and administer and record their participation in the orientation program 
• Conduct and document pre-planning safety meetings with each contractor to establish safety procedures prior to contractor’s activity on site 
• Establish and conduct regular (weekly) safety meetings with contractor representatives and issue minutes of meeting and interface with project staff and each contractor safety representatives relating to safety regulations to ensure proper compliance 
• Ensure that third party inspection by competent authority is carried out for all construction equipment’s & machineries before first use at specific project 
• Promote a positive health and safety culture on site 
• Implement the project health, safety, and environmental plan 
• Ensure the company’s management system, risk assessment, procedures and SWMS reflect the requirements of current legislation and standards 
• Establish and maintain health and safety registers, checklists, PTW and maintain health and safety files and records 
• Assess all potential health and safety hazards and risks and communicate to relevant parties for action 
• Monitor contractors’ activities against SWMS’s 
• Conduct health and safety inspections and walks on site, communicate actions, and ensure close out of actions 
• Record, report and investigate safety incidents and ensure corrective actions are taken 
• Implement safe work practices and procedures 
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety training for personnel at site  
• Assess contractor and supplier’s ability to comply with the project and health and safety requirements 
• Compile safety records and statistic for the site and submit a regular report 

 People 

• Guide site staff in the implementation and adherence to the Health, Safety and Environment Plan
• Should have a minimum 5-year safety experience in India, working with renewables, electrical, manufacturing, or heavy industries
