Description

• Safety Planning and Implementation:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure effective control measures are in place.
• Compliance and Regulation:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and ensure that the project adheres to all legal requirements.
• Training and Awareness:
  • Organize and conduct safety training sessions and workshops for project personnel to enhance safety awareness and practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Incident Management:
  • Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and ensure that findings are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Emergency Response:
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols.
  • Coordinate with emergency response teams and ensure that all personnel are familiar with emergency procedures.
• Safety Inspections:
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that safety equipment is properly maintained.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and other safety-related documentation.
  • Prepare and submit regular safety reports to project management and regulatory agencies as required.
