Educational Qualification

  • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma (Any Engineering Discipline)
  • Diploma in Industrial Safety from a Recognized State Board

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Ensure implementation and compliance with all Safety, Health & Environmental (EHS) policies and procedures at the project site.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
  • Monitor work activities and ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and client requirements.
  • Conduct Safety Induction Training for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Organize Toolbox Talks (TBT), safety awareness programs, and emergency drills.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers and staff.
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting operations, hot work, confined space entry, and electrical work.
  • Verify and control Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for critical activities.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences and submit detailed reports.
  • Maintain safety records, inspections, audits, observations, and incident reports.
  • Coordinate with project management, contractors, and client representatives on safety matters.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure availability and inspection of firefighting equipment and emergency response arrangements.
  • Monitor housekeeping standards and promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist in preparing safety reports, MIS reports, and monthly EHS performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with client safety standards and support client safety audits.
  • Promote a positive safety culture across the project site.
  • Stop unsafe work practices and recommend corrective measures whenever required.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response activities during site emergencies.
  • Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by management or the client.
